Art Breaker is the thirteenth episode of Season 3 of That's So Raven. It originally aired on Disney Channel on February 25, 2005.

Plot[]

When Chelsea discovers her newfound talent for art, she uses Raven as the inspiration for her next masterpiece which will be displayed at a museum exhibit. Raven then sees that Chelsea's finished project is a statue that shows her with a large beak with feathers. Raven then has a vision that the statue will be destroyed. Within seconds, the vision actually happens with Raven accidentally knocking it down. Raven then literally poses as the statue at the exhibit so Chelsea does not notice.

Meanwhile, when Cory's school gets rid of unhealthy foods, Tanya sets the same example by making the family eat healthier. Cory and William then use the opportunity to make money by selling sodas in milk cartons at their school.

Quotes[]

Raven: (sees what she thinks is a pile of garbage on the table in front of Chelsea) Oh, Chels, come on, let’s get this garbage off the table. You gotta show your project. (picks it up, only to discover it’s a hanging project of stuff glued together on a circular-shaped white paper board with a handle made of plastic six-pack rings) Uh, girl? Someone glued your garbage together.
Chelsea: Yeah, Rae, I did. It’s my project.
Raven: Really?
Chelsea: Yeah. The message is about how our, um, world has become a giant dump for our consumer culture.

Tanya: Hi, honey. How was school?
Cory: (after drinking some soda) Boy, did I need that.
Tanya: Rough day?
Cory: The worst ever! They wanted to cut down our sugar, so they took out all the soda machines. Why don’t they ban useless stuff, like homework?

Victor: Cory, why is this milk carton filled with grape soda?
Cory: (smiles) It came from a purple cow?
Tanya: (sternly) Cory.
Cory: (his smile then fades) OK. William and I made a batch and sold it at school.
Tanya: Cory, you are out of the soda business.
Victor: And you’re gonna donate all that money you made back to your school. (Cory looks shocked)
Tanya: And I’m calling William’s mother! I have her number in my cell! (accidentally pulls a candy bar out of her purse)
Victor: What is that?
Tanya: My cell phone! (“dials” the candy bar and puts it to her ear) Hello? William’s mother? This is Cory’s mother...
Victor: Tanya? (Tanya turns to him) Hang up the chocolate.
Tanya: (pulls the candy bar away and pretends to hang up) OK, I just... I had such a craving! (sets the candy bar on the table)
Victor: Yeah. I think we can safely say that banning sugar in this house has not been very successful.

Raven: (after Eddie just fed her a Jalopeno Pepper Popper) What? You picked a potentially painful pepper popper to pop into my pecker?
Eddie: Possibly.

Arthur: (to Ms. Petuto about the Raven statue) Very interesting piece. Quite... lifelike.
Ms. Petuto: (in agreement) Yes. It was inspired by another student, Raven Baxter — who has a bad case of shoes on the brain.

Arthur: (as he and Ms. Petuto are admiring the Raven statue) It's like there's a pressure building from within.
Eddie: (running up) I wouldn't stand too close.

Ms. Petuto: (to Chelsea, uninterested in what Chelsea has to say about her statue) Chelsea, why don't you let your art speak for itself?
Raven: WATER! (jumps off the podium and scares the admirers)

Chelsea: Rae, what happened to my statue?
Raven: I broke it.
Chelsea: What, you hated it that much?
Raven: No, Chelse, no. It was a total accident, girl.
Chelsea: So, what, you covered yourself in clay and feathers and pretended like you were my statue?
Raven: Yeah. I’m really sorry. (turns and is about to walk away)
Chelsea: Sorry? (Raven stops and turns back to her) That’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me. Rae, I’m sorry if my statue hurt your feelings.
Raven: No, girl, no. I was... I was way too sensitive. I just wanted to be captured as beautiful. And you know what? I was captured as beautiful because it came from you — my best friend.

Cory: (eating at table with Tanya and Victor) Mmmm, this is really good. What do you call this?
Victor: Fresh fruit.
