Sam was a student at Bayside High School.

In preparation for Amber's party, Chelsea met Sam in the hallway and developed a crush on him. She was shocked to hear his name was the same as her dog.
So not to confuse her date with her dog, Raven and Cheslea went undercover in Sam's gym class per Cory's suggestion. The search for a suitable nikename ended in failure. Raven had a vision that Sam would blow Chelsea off, which turn out to be true.
The next day, Raven entered class digused as a boy and told Sam that she would go out with Chelsea becuase her parents were tight with Kobe.
