Viv was Raven and Cory's grandmother and Tanya Baxter's mother.

Grandma Viv stayed at the Baxter house while Victor and Tanya Baxter were on their second honeymoon.
Viv and Cory had a rivalry of pranks while she stayed at the Baxter home and Raven came to her for advice when Eddie and Chelsea refused to listen to any of Raven's vision as they had only caused them trouble.
In the end, Viv told Raven that she too was psychic and went with Raven to the school gym to see that Eddie had climb the rock wall like Raven envisioned.
